Entrenched in over a decade's worth of elite fashion, having pioneered the wearable art movement, hand-painting art on the most sought after fashion brands, where materialism and branding reign supreme, Boyarde has created a series of works that embrace our innermost consumerist desires, creating the ultimate viewing ‘experience’ where we get to watch who’s-who and who’s-wearing-what, whilst they view what's-hot, shining a spotlight on our need to observe and compare, to own and possess, all whilst under the mischievous umbrella of her beloved Pop Art.

“This is JUST a Harrods Bag!” One-of-a-kind Harrods X Boyarde hand-painted Harrods Green Gift Bag, 2023 Dubbed ‘The Bag Lady’ after years of painting on luxury bags and affluent brands, a paradoxical contradiction in itself, Boyarde has teamed up with Harrods to celebrate the irony of her branding and playfully tackles her perceived value as an artist by painting ‘Most Wanted’ onto a Harrods green bag. Paralleling the same 100 hours of painting that she would put into painting on a Birkin, this one-of-a-kind paper bag becomes a symbol of consumerism, celebrity, and self-worth, albeit garnished with her usual sprinkling of irony and wit.
